Would this help you buy a used car?
I’m Michael, KELNU’s founder. I’m testing whether a plain-English report helps buyers identify unanswered questions before paying for a car. Take the free viewing checklist and seller questions, then share feedback if you wish. Honest criticism is useful.
For UK residents aged 18+ considering a used-car purchase within three months, or helping someone who is. After a quick look at the fictional sample, answer one question. A yes, no or not sure is enough; a sentence explaining why is welcome. The price question is optional.
First, explore the fictional report
Take a quick look at one scenario in the sample, then return to share your opinion. There are no right answers—we want your honest opinion.

How your feedback is used
Your survey answers are saved privately for KELNU product research and reviewed by the founder. This form does not ask for your name, email, registration, VIN or payment details. Please leave identifying information out of written answers. The hosting service may process routine technical request information. Read the research privacy notice for contact, retention and withdrawal details.
Participation is voluntary. Skip the written questions if you prefer. After submitting, you receive a private deletion code and can remove your response here. Keep that code; we cannot identify your response without it. Feedback is not an order, booking or commitment to buy. Individual responses will not be displayed publicly.
Your free viewing checklist and seller questions
Use this whether or not you take the survey. No sign-up or payment needed.
- Before travelling: ask for dated service records, recent test details and the current dashboard mileage.
- Compare the claims: note anything the advert promises and which documents actually support it.
- Check the history: obtain an appropriate current authorised check for finance or security interests, theft and write-off history. Missing information does not mean clear.
- At the viewing: compare the car and its documents with the advert. Ask about damage, repairs, warning lights and any gaps in its history.
- Before committing: arrange a suitable independent inspection and resolve unanswered questions.
A checklist or roadworthiness certificate cannot establish the car’s full condition. This is general preparation, not a vehicle inspection or guarantee.
